- 1½ cups mashed bananas (approximately 3 ripe bananas)
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 1½ cups flour
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- Sugar for sprinkling on tops
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Use a stand mixer (paddle attachment) and mix together bananas, oil, and egg.
- In a separate large bowl, sift together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to banana mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Fill greased or lined muffin tins approximately 2/3 full.
- Sprinkle the tops of each muffin with sugar.
