Why not get creative this year and use some fun candy that you don't normally find in the stores! This year I turned to Oriental Trading to get some fun candy to "Boo" my neighbors as well as make goodie bags for a Halloween soccer tournament. Normally our Halloween tournament is the last weekend of regular season for soccer. So it has become a tradition for me to make each girl on the team their own fun goodie bag! I mean seriously, where else can you find Zombie Booger Gummy Candy or Lizard Lips?
To "Boo" someone you would just put together a home decorated bag/bucket of treats including a note with instructions on how to "boo" and deliver it anonymously to their neighbor, friend or relative. The recipient would then have 48 hours to do it to their next door neighbor or friend which creates a chain throughout the neighborhood. It will be fun to see how many people are "boo-ing" it this season!
You don't necessarily have to do all candy either! Oriental Trading even has some super cute glow items that aren't just glow sticks! Glow in the dark vampire teeth, flashlights, necklaces and more. You can get really creative making your goodie bags and boo bags! If you have kids at home they love to help make goodie bags and boo bags. First I counted out the items and then we set up an assembly line of making them. It was done in no time at all!

YOU HAVE BEEN BOO'D!
The air is cool, the season fall,
Soon Halloween will come to all.
With ghosts and goblins, spooks galore,
Trick-or-treaters at the door.
Excitement grows when friends like you
Decide to share this little BOO.
Neighbors will have smiling faces;
None can guess who’s “BOO'd” which places.
A day or two to work your spell,
But keep it hidden! Hide it well!
Join the fun; the season’s here.
So spread these “BOOs” and share the cheer!
Directions:
- Enjoy your treat!
- Hang your "BOO" sign on your front door or visible in a window
- Within 48 hours make up your "Boo" bags or treat baskets and include these instructions.
- Keep an eye on nearby front doors and porches and watch the "Boo-ing" spread
Here is one that I did last year for my neighbors with kids!
