It is cold outside and the perfect time to do some crafting with your kids or order your party needs from Oriental Trading!  The great folks at Oriental Trading sent me some goodies to help make both my kids' classroom Christmas parties special and some cool items to  craft with!

A fun way to add to your child's  school party is to make a goodie bag for each child in the class! Kids get so much candy and sweet teats at parties, we like to switch things up.   This time around we opted for Snowman Goodie bags.   They were the perfect size to add all the items we got from Oriental Trading!    Each kid will get a cool bookmark, erasers, pencils, pencil sharpener and of course a jingle bell necklace!  A little whimsy and fun with practical items that the kids can use! 

I love that Oriental Trading has so many cool craft items and  supplies.  They have helpful craft projects  as well and give you the info you need to create those projects too!   I had a craft project in mind and had some items at home already, but I needed some key items to create my mason jar snow globes. I was able to find those items at Oriental Trading!   Oriental Trading has jars too, if you need them!

To achieve the faux snow globe, I used clear plastic craft ornaments  and Christmas Small Sisal Wreaths and Mini Cream Frosted Sisal Trees from Oriental Trading.  I glued the wreath to the top of some ornaments and then the trees to the top of the mason jar lid.   Then added some fake snow  and glued  ribbon  around the top to cover where I glued the ornament onto the top of the lid!
