This Thanksgiving, you’ll have the turkey, stuffing
and desserts prepared, but your spread won’t be complete without the
final touches from these colorful, customizable Fall place settings!
With Thanksgiving fast approaching, pick up some Yoobi products to get creative and create your own fall place settings and decoration!
This weekend my daughter and I were armed with a 12 Pack of Glitter
Shakers, Star Shape Glitter, Liquid Glue, 10 Pack of Washable Markers,
Yoobi name tags, and mini pumpkins to get ready for some crafting fun!
You can pick up mini pumpkins from your local grocery store, Amish farm or just head to your local craft store and pick up craft pumpkins!
Step 1: Layout some newspaper to catch your mess, the glitter can get messy, especially if little hands are helping! You can then scoop up the glitter and reuse it later!
Step 2: Using the liquid glue and your choice of glitter, create fun designs and personalized patterns on your pumpkins.
Step 3: If you are wanting to put words on your pumpkin, make sure to write them on first with your markers
Step 4: Use a Q-tip and outline your writing with the glue
Step 5: Shake your glitter on your pumpkins
Step 6: Set your pumpkins to dry overnight.
Step 7: Make your our name place settings with Yoobi's double-ended stamp markers and gel pens and attach to your pumpkins!
Want to go simple? I also picked up some pumpkins from the local Amish farm for under $1 each and used the markers on them to write cool messages! I found it was easier to write on the pumpkins first and then use the markers to fill in the design.
The possibilities are endless! You can have a coloful table setting for all your friends and family to enjoy and you gather to give thanks! Make it a family craft night and get the kids involved. Below is my daughter's pumpkin that she had a blast creating!
