I honestly was not sure what this movie was about. I knew it had Jennifer Lawrence, so it had to be good...I just didn't expect it to be so amazing. This movie is inspired by the life of Joy Mangano (Jennifer Lawrence). It is narrated by her grandmother who always had high hopes for Joy and always wanted her to follow her passion. Joy is creative and constantly dreaming for creating products. Family came first and Joy but all her aspirations on hold, until 17 years later and it dawns on her she can make a difference. With the help of her crazy friends and family, she embarks on a journey to create the best mop you will ever purchase.
I loved her determination. She is truly awe-inspiring as she never gave up, once she put her mind to it, she would not let anything get in the way. It is an amazing movie that features a stellar cast. It is one of the better movies I have seen this year!
