The laugh out loud comedy of the year is now out on Digital HD and SD.  Call up your friends and family and have a SPY themed party! This weekend I hosted a viewing party.  My mission for the party was be to become Susan Cooper herself with her cat T-shirt and gray wig and  have friends and family dress their own 'spy gear' as a fun alias!

Each guest received a few 'survival' items to keep in a handbag for on-the-go missions -- just like Susan Cooper receives for her missions! In the survival kits they will each get a special flashlight and phone charger for emergencies and a five-in-one whistle perfect for any jam a wannabe spy might find herself in!

We used super cute Secret Agent Favor Boxes and filled them with goodies. There is also a place to write every  agent’s name or their alias on the top to personalize the experience.

A spy themed tablecloth was also a must. This plastic tablecloth will gave my agents a place to eat their munchies and solve the case without blowing their cover!

To assist my have friends and family to  dress in  their own 'spy gear' as a fun alias, I set up a prop station, so those who did not have gear, could get into their role.   I would transform into Susan Cooper myself.  I had issues getting my wig to look right, so I looked more like Don King!   My husband said he could not take me seriously with the cat shirt!

No party is complete without munchies.  I hosted this party after the dinner hour, so instead of a meal, I went with the perfect movie munchies, your sweets, sours and of course buttery popcorn!  Then whatever was leftover the guests could add to their goodie boxes and take home!  I am in love with the Kernel Seasoning for popcorn, so it was a must to share with my guests!

We watched this move on Digital HD via iTunes. I love being able to watch digital movies, it is so convenient! Apple has a market on iProducts, so the only way to watch a movie one would think is with and Apple TV or on your iPad. Nope, not the case, my hubby bought and Apple AV cord and a HDMI cord and he plugged the iPad right into the TV! Instant movie and the quality was AMAZING!

This is not a kid friendly movie, just getting it out there (R rated), so send the littles to bed and get ready to laugh non-stop.  Spy is a great comedy, in the opening credits you get a spoof of the James Bond intro and the references don't stop there.   Melissa McCarthy stars as Susan Cooper, a desk bound CIA analyst who is sent into the field when all  the other agents are compromised.  She wants to avenge her crush's death and stop the villain (Rose Bryne) from selling a Nuclear Weapon.  Not everyone is a fan of Susan being in the field and one such spy named Ford (Jason Statham) lets that be know and leaved the CIA.  I have only every seen him as a serious action hero, so it was funny to watch him in a comedy.

There is swearing (f-bombs galore), blood, fight scenes, death, sophomoric humor,etc., but is is an absolutely hilarious movie!
