Bring home the enchanting tale the whole family can enjoy today!
I totally was not sure what to expect with this movie, I heard mixed reviews about it, but went in with an open mind. It did start a little slow, but I looked over and the kids were totally into it. Once the storyline progressed, I was in love with this movie. It had beautiful animation, feisty female characters, and an all start cast. The movie revolves around Marianne, a princess who catches her prince (Roland) kissing another and makes a vow to never to fall in love again . Roland wants to win her back for his own selfish reasons, and convinces an elf to help him get a love potion from the Sugar Plum Fairy. The love potion of course creates havoc and love mismatches. Dawn, Marianne's sister falls in love with the Bog King and Marianne is then on a path to free her sister from the spell, but in the process finds love herself.
The music, oh the music, my daughter and I were rocking out on the couch. She has now since asked for the soundtrack,of course I will oblige! With songs like "I Can't Help Myself" (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch), "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" (Who Loves Me) and "Can't Help Falling in Love", you can't got wrong!
