Tomorrow night is #PeterPanLIVE on NBC! Check out my party prep!

Preparing to sprinkle fairy dust across America, NBC presents "Peter Pan Live!" a bold new television production of the iconic Broadway musical.

Allison Williams ("Girls") stars in the title role and Academy Award winner Christopher Walken stars as the villainous Captain Hook in the timeless classic about a boy who never wants to grow up. Tony Award winner Christian Borle will play both Smee, the dastardly right-hand to Captain Hook, as well as George Darling, the no-nonsense father of the Darling children.

Thanks to the great folks at Wal-mart and NCB, they sent me a pretty cool movie viewing kit!   It had

• One (1) Crocodile puppet
• Two (2) Pirate hook hands (kid-friendly)
• Two (2) Pirate swords (kid-friendly)
• Two (2) Peter Pan hats
• One (1) vial of fairy dust
• One (1) Peter Pan Live! lesson plan packet

Yes, there is a  lesson plan packet even available online and you thought it would just be a cool show to watch.  Now you can use it as an educational tool too!  The study guide introduces students to the iconic characters, irrepressible adventures, and inspirational songs of this family classic, with activities designed to generate excitement, engagement, and discussion before, during, and after the live broadcast.

So what does one do to prep for the movie tomorrow night?  Bake of course! I used a mix this time to create some Peter Pan inspired cookies!

First up, make and bake cookies according to package!

Once cool frost with green frosting (or white that is dyed green with food coloring).

Add some cool sprinkles!  I happen to find these super cool silver sprinkles at Wal-mart that reminded me for Fairy Dust!
