I have been anxiously awaiting the release of JINGLE ALL THE WAY 2, the sequel to the 1996 hit comedy JINGLE ALL THE WAY, it released today! While I do not have my hands on it you can bet that I will be watching it soon!

The great folks at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment sent myself and 3 other bloggers to Vancouver, Canada to experience what it was like visiting the set, watching scenes get filmed and we got a chance to interact with the stars of the film as well.

While we were in Vancouver, Larry the Cable Guy took the time to meet with us bloggers and just let us hang out with him under his tent while he was watching golf out the side of his RV or as he calls it, his mobile headquarters. Larry is a real family guy who is focused on his kids. He is truly a great dad, while we were talking the proud papa even showed us pictures of the kids on his phone! He knows what makes his own kids laugh and he wants his kids to be able to view his movies, so he made sure that this would be a film his kids could see.

While chatting with him, we learned so cool tid bits! He was a pig farmer at one time! He is glad he is funny or he had no clue what he would be doing now. He mused he may be a cattle auctioneer! When asked what his favorite film is, he replied Back to the Future, then added Seargent York, Defending Your Life Tombstone, Outlaw and Urban Cowboy.

When we were meeting with Larry, he pondered the question, what makes it a reboot, remake or a sequel? He thought if this film was meant to a be sequel, then the first movie should of possibly been called Jingled Half Way. The musings of Larry the Cable Guy had us all in stitches, he is seriously one funny man!

He said movies all start with the actors. If an actor is up tight on set, it then sets the tone. Larry set the tone by walking out in boxers and a cigar and from there on you could tell what kind of guy he was...a funny guy who is not consumed by fame!
