I think version is more younger child friendly and a great way for kids to get into the Transformers. I remember watching older versions of Transformers/Go-Bots as a child and this series reminds me of it a bit. More kid friendly. In this DVD you will get 5 action packed episodes that are all mystery themed! Not only do the Rescue Bots have their normal rescuing and saving going on, but they have mysteries to solve too.
