McDonald's is offering up #FreeCoffee during breakfast hours until 09/29!

From Sept. 16 through 29, guests can get a free small McCafé coffee during breakfast hours at participating McDonald’s restaurants across the country.  This is the perfect opportunity for coffee lovers to enjoy a freshly brewed, rich and smooth tasting McCafé coffee.

McDonald's prides itself on it's coffee.  To them it is all about making the best cup of coffee!  Did you know that they brew their coffee fresh all day long.  They do not pre-load the pots with water and coffee either, they wait till it is needed.  Since coffee is 98-99% water, they make sure they use water with the highest quality.  They actually use a reverse osmosis procedure to remove impurities and contaminates from the water!  You are getting the freshest cup of coffee when you order!

McDonald's coffee is 100% Arabia coffee!  It takes one tree to make one pound of a coffee a year! McDonald's has the harvesting of their beans down to a science!  Pulping machines separate the seeds from the the skin, but nothing is wasted!  The fruit and skin are composted and reused for fertilizer for the coffee trees!

McDonald's USA and their independent owner/operators are giving back to local coffee communities by investing in a technical assistance program to help farmers in the Central America produce more sustainably!
