@Kohls is hosting a #CookWithKohls Sweepstakes - Check out my review of some Food Network products #Sponsored

Summer should be a celebration. Whether you're prepping for a backyard blowout or an alfresco dinner for two, Food Network products from Kohl's makes it easy, fast and fun. I love to cook and bake, so I spend a lot of time in the kitchen.   When I am in need of new kitchen gear, I always turn to Kohl's.  I am seriously in love the their Food Network line.

I am an avid baker, seriously if I could own my own bakery, I would.  So of course a staple item to have on hand is Food Network™ Jelly Roll Pans.  Food Network™ Jelly Roll Pans run about $22.39 - $26.99 at Kohls.  There is no better way to try out a new pan, then with something yummy for the family!

Blue Velvet Whoopie Pies
1 box Duncan Hines Signature Blue Velvet Cake Mix
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
3 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/3 cup water

Filling:
1 stick of butter
2-3 cups powdered sugar
vanilla

Baking Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Line your Food Network™ Jelly Roll Pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine cake mix, flour, eggs, vegetable oil and water in a large bowl. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  • Use a teaspoon and scoop batter onto cookie sheet. Put no more than 12-15 per pan, as the batter will spread.
  • Bake 10 minutes. Let cool completely and set aside.
Beat together butter with one cup of powdered sugar.  Continue to add sugar till you get the flavor/consistency you desire.   I added a dash of vanilla as well.  Spread 1 teaspoon of frosting on the flat sides of half of the  whoopie pies and top with remaining pies.

Another must have kitchen item is quality mixing bowls. I picked up the above the mixing bowls with lids, but could not find a link to them online.  Here is a comparable set, they just don't have lids: Food Network™ 5-pc. Mixing Bowl Set.

Not only are they perfect for mixing food in, but they are great for storing and serving as well.  They are nice and sturdy, easy to clean and the bright colors are just so fun and festive!   These are perfect for serving up potato salad, watermelon, etc.  Perfect for parties and backyard BBQs.   Another plus is they nest for easy storage!

From colorful cutlery to steel sets, there's a knife for every cook in the Food Network Collection!  Just check out these fun pairing knives!  Perfect for peeling fruit and veggies this summer!

I seriously could not resist these Food Network products. I picked up the Food Network™ Bread Basket
icon and using it as a fruit bowl instead of break basket! How cute is that! I also had to grab me a couple Food Network™ Decorative Mason Jars and Food Network™ Decorative Milk Bottle, just because they are too cute and look adorable on display.

When you shop the Food Network Collection at Kohls, you never know what kind of goodies you will find from cookware, dinnerware, knives, linens and more.  So why not head on over to Kohls and see all they have to offer!
