I am really hoping we are past the cold spell! Going to kid soccer games in May and having to wear winter coats, hats and gloves is crazy! But all this cold weather we have been having almost makes me think it might be chilly weather till Christmas! Who here is ready for Christmas? JINGLE ALL THE WAY 2, the sequel to the 1996 hit comedy
JINGLE ALL THE WAY. It is slated to release this 2014 holiday season!
The great folks at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment sent myself and 3 other bloggers to Vancouver, Canada to experience what it was like visiting the set, watching scenes get filmed and we got a chance to interact with the stars of the film too! I can not go into too much detail, but the film looks amazing!
While we were in Vancouver, Larry the Cable Guy took the time to meet with us bloggers and just let us hang out with him under his tent while he was watching golf out the side of his sweet ride. I was just thinking about Larry (because of course we are on a first name basis since we met) this morning when the radio was discussing a reboot of an upcoming film. When we were meeting with Larry, he pondered the question, what makes it a reboot, remake or a sequel? He thought if this film was meant to a be sequel, then the first movie should of possibly been called Jingled Half Way. The musings of Larry the Cable Guy had us all in stitches, he is seriously one funny man!
JINGLE ALL THE WAY 2 stars Larry the Cable Guy (Tooth Fairy 2, Cars) and features WWE Superstar “Santino Marella®” the film is directed by Alex Zamm (Tooth Fairy 2, Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts).
It is hard to believe that it was 18 years ago when the first movie that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Belushi, Sinbad, etc. was released. It honestly makes me feel old, to think that I was just one year out of high school when the original film was released. When we asked Alex Zamm “why now?”, his reply was simple
"why not now?"! It makes perfect sense to release another film of the same genre, who doesn't love Christmas movies?
This new film will follow a similar story line as the first movie, but with a few spins on it. Remember the iconic Turbo Man toy that Arnold Schwarzenegger was in search of? Well this film does not revolve around Turbo Man, but wait till you see what gets Larry the Cable Guy in a tizzy! Not only does this film star Larry the Cable Guy, but it is the first film for WWE Superstar “Santino Marella"! Santino Marella will be staring as Larry's best bud in this film and up to some crazy antics with Larry!
