@TheLEGOMovie: Everything Is Awesome! A great family film #TheLEGOMovie

“The LEGO® Movie” is the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure. The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet (Chris Pratt) an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identifies as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Cast: Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson

My son loves playing LEGOs. He will disappear for hours in his room and will be building and creating on his table with his LEGOs. Once he saw the preview, he counted down the days till the movie release. He even kept the LEGO magazine in the car and every time we got into the car he would turn to the double page spread of The LEGO Movie and just stare at it. To get him exited even more I picked up some of the mystery mini figure packs!

I love to encourage imaginative play and creativity, so I am a huge fan of LEGOs.  Heck my husband played with them as a child and the majority of Noah's collection is his own daddy's old toys!   So we all were pretty excited to see this movie.  I can honestly say that audiences of all ages will love it and you will want to see it again and again.  I can not wait to buy this movie for my family.

I don't  want to give too much away, but the storyline is so  touching and there is a twist towards the end of the movie.  The movie focuses on that we are all special in our own way and each posses our own creativity.   This is a fast paced movie that will have you falling in love with the characters, rooting for your favorite piece and laughing out loud. I was rooting for the Blue Spaceman to finally be able to build his space ship!   Be prepared to also get that catchy little tune... Everything is Awesome, stuck in your head!

My kids are six and eight, I even saw toddlers in the theatre,  it is honestly a great family film!
