A new twist on breakfast with Target & #PlatefullCoOp #spon

We all know that breakfast is an important start to your family’s day, but all too often, it’s rushed, hectic, and…monotonous. So what can be done to make breakfast a little more delightful and fun?

It is easy  to make breakfast combinations that feature favorite, versatile items that our kids love!

As inspiration to post, I was sent a few favorite items so that I could create my own unique spins on breakfast:
• 1 pouch Nature Valley® Protein Granola
• 1 box Nature Valley® Granola Bars
• 1 box Honey Nut Cheerios® Medley Crunch™ cereal
• 1 box Trix® cereal
• 1 package Quaker® Oats
• 1 jar Jif® peanut butter
• 1 package Nutella® mini cups
• 1 pouch Grandma Hoerner’s® Big Slice™ apples snack
Toast:
This morning my son was delighted with his breakfast!  Instead of going the peanut butter route in the image above, I did my won twist and make Banana Nutella Toast!  Easy as making toast, covering it with Nutella and laying sliced bananas on it!

Oatmeal:
On a cold snowy morning nothing beat a hot bowl of oatmeal!   Instead of going for the the flavored oatmeal, make your own by adding Grandma Hoerner’s® Big Slice™ apples snack to your  Quaker® Oats!   It is so good and once again you are getting fruit into the kids!

Trail Mix:
Mix together  Honey Nut Cheerios® Medley Crunch™ cereal, Trix® cereal and Nature Valley® Protein Granola for a yummy on the go snack!

Cheerio bars:
A fun treat for on the go that combines Cheerios and Peanut Butter!
3 tablespoons real butter
1 (6 cup) package mini marshmallows
1/2 cup Jif® Creamy peanut butter
5 cups Cheerios (Honey Nut or Honey Nut Cheerios® Medley Crunch™ cereal)

Directions:
  1. Grease 13x9 inch pan.
  2. Place butter in a BIG microwaveable safe bowl.
  3. Add marshmallows and peanut butter.
  4. Heat on high power for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir until marshmallows are completely melted.
  6. Pour in cereal.
