In modern day Japan, Wolverine is out of his depth in an unknown world as he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

Spoilers:
If you are a fan of the X-Men movies, then you are well aware of the character of Wolverine.  While the last movie about the Wolverine focused more on his past and how he came to be part of the X-Men, this movie delves into  a relationship from his past and how an act of heroism came back to haunt him.  Amidst this trip to Japan, connecting with a friend from his past, he is compounded by guilt still over Jean Grey's death in X-Men Last Stand.   He feels guilty for her death and questions whether life is worth living anymore.  He believes death will free him from all pain... but once Logan's ability to quickly heal, he begins to question that desire.

I won't get into much more of the plot, but it is very action packed.   The fight scenes are amazing and the way that the Ninjas move in the movie are shocking!  My husband is a huge comic to movie fan and loved this movie.  I enjoyed it as well.  I am a fan of the X-Men franchise and love this movie too.  Plus ladies, you get to see a lot of shirtless scenes with the ripped hot Hugh Jackman!
