Need some help in the garden? If so, Miracle-Gro’s The Gro Project is here to help out! The Gro Project shares projects that you can do to add some pizzazz to your garden! The best past is they are easy to do and not complicated! Miracle-Gro wants to simplify gardening for a whole new class of gardeners and show that it can be easy, and you can create fun garden projects !
Miracle-Gro - The Grow Project has some great project ideas that allow you to get your creative juices flowing! They offer step-by-step instructions of the following projects: Toyarium , Ukulele Garden, Origami Garden, G.Y.O.B. or Thrown Down! We all have some extra kid toys laying around and the Toyarium would make the perfect family project and help combat the summer boredom! Recently we made our own fun project at home a little gnome garden!
You will need the base of a terra cotta pot or a plastic pot, add some dirt, seed (flower or grass), rocks, gnomes/decorations. You can pick up mini characters, houses in craft departments or create your own! Add the dirt to the planter, arrange your characters, then add the seeds and watch your garden grow. My kids even painted the planter base, rocks, etc.!
Another fun project is creating pepper or tomato pots. Although we have raised gardens, it is nice to plant a few veggies in post and let the kids tend to them. You can pick up starter plants for under $2 each, your Miracle grow soil and add then to your favorite pot! We also like to use LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food Advance Starter Kit on on in ground plants!
