Splash Harbor in Bellville, Ohio is a family friendly water park getaway halfway between Columbus and Cleveland.  Recently my family was able to stay overnight and the kids had a blast!

We were greeted by friendly front counter staff, that were there to help us with any questions we had!  If you forget a standard tolietry item such a a toothbrush, they will assist you in getting one!  Plus they even had free high-speed wireless and hard-wired internet access.   When was the last time you stayed somewhere with free internet access?  Heck I even saw a mom on a laptop in the water park area!

The Comfort Inn has 100 room and  a 6,000 Square foot water park. There is also a fitness room and video arcade. Included in your overnight room are up to 4 water park passes and deluxe hot continental breakfast buffet.   Our room had two queen beds that had the softest pillows ever, TV that cold swivel to face either bed, fridge, coffee maker, microwave and a fridge.  The bathroom was classy with complimentary tolietries and even a heat lamp!

There is a championship golf course behind the hotel and an 18 mile bike path within 1/2 mile of hotel. Near 20 mile bike path, Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm State Park, Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, the Carousel District and many other attractions.  If you are worried about your dining options, there are even restaurants with in walking distance!  Craving pizza, well  Marcos will deliver right to your room.  Take your pizza to the water park area and munch while the kids are having a blast!

Ohio's premier water park for young families. It is the ideal place for those with younger children, (2-12). With a more compact water park, it is more manageable to keep track of multiple children at the same time.    There was a spray ground with dumping bucket, spraying geysers, water tunnel, and a pirate ship.  Huge glass window let in the light with an adult hot tub looking over the area!

Kids will enjoy the 49 foot looping slide!   Oh and its not  just for kids, but adults will have fun taking a turn down it too!   In one are of the  pool is a tethered floating star raft.  My son loved this raft and enjoyed climbing on it, tipping over and even standing on it with his sister!  There was even basketball hoops and a kiddie pool!

Not can  only you book a room and have access to the water park, but they also offer different promotions as well as day passes!

Day-passes cost $12.95 per person and can only be used Sundays-Thursday from 10am to 4pm.

Day-pass users must call-ahead to be sure the pool is open on the day of their choice due to a possibility of the pool being too busy.
