A number of Bon Jovi's songs resonate with me and whenever I need a pick me up, a Bon Jovi song is what I turn too. My all time favorite song is Always and I was extremely happy when it was the final song of the final encore performance... but I am getting ahead of myself.
Bon Jovi concerts bring out everybody. I spotted children as young as 8 and then people who appeared to be grandparents as well. Bon Jovi fans are die-hard too, they make their own clothing, I saw a number of home made jackets, needle point items, vests, tattoos, etc. Bon Jovi fans are the best, they are the nicest people you will ever meet.
Bon Jovi rocked the Q Arena last weekend. The show started shortly after 8pm and lasted over 3 hours. Yes, 3 hours of staring at Bon Jovi, singing, dancing and having a great time! The did a wonderful job of mixing classics with the new songs. Jon told the group about his upcoming CD and introduced all of us to a number of amazing new songs that will be classic Bon Jovi tunes some day. The special effects were amazing. He knows how to connect with the audience and the town that he is in! Heck he was wearing a Cleveland Browns jersey for a while! When they performed I Love this Town, the set turned into the Cleveland skyline! He also told us all (which I did not know) that Work for the Working Man was based off of Wilminton,Ohio job loss!
Bon Jovi puts on a show like none other. If you get a chance to check out a show of this tour, then you will love it. You will be entertained from the first song to the last encore. just check out the set list from the Cleveland show:
