This is a truly inspirational film based on real life events.   It portrays a story of a single mom who teams up with a  teacher to transform a failing public school into a charter school.  As a parent it is great to see parents and  teachers working together  to better their children's school.  They take control of the school system themselves and take control over the children's education.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis are phenomenal in this film.  Not only is this a film,  but it also show that as parents we need to get more involved in our child's education!
