I remember watching this film as a child on VHS! I don't think I totally understood the film, so much that I just loved the Dragon! The story follows an orphaned boy who runs away from his terrible adoptive family. Pete and Elliott make there way to a quaint fishing town called Passamaquoddy! From there the story unfolds and the duo get into mischief.
Pete is taken in by Nora and her father Lampie and they form a family unit until the terrible adoptive parents make a comeback and other villains are introduced who want Elliott. You will need tissues for this film as I did get a little teary eyed!
It is great to see this movie on Blu-ray and own a better quality then VHS! You will be delighted with the story, the animation and the singing and dancing!
