Love the Moment in Virginia Beach this Summer #momsloveabeach

It’s time to spring into action and plan your summer vacation! I know I need one and we are thinking of a beach vacation!   As a mom, I am looking for a beach that is kid friendly and fun for the entire family!   Well spring is making its way to Virginia Beach and with great local restaurants, mild temperatures, and plenty of activities to help you Love the Moment, Virginia Beach is the perfect summer vacation destination. As a SocialMom blogger  we have teamed up with the Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau to help spread the word about all Virginia Beach has to offer as a vacation destination.

In Virginia Beach, your ocean playground awaits: great weather, kid-friendly activities, and the biggest sandbox you’ve ever seen, that’s Virginia Beach. Imaginations run wild on the shores of possibilities in Virginia Beach as tiny travelers are welcomed with a variety of attractions like the Virginia Aquarium and First Landing State Park and a mix of coastal experiences like Beach Street USA and Grommet Island Park. There’s always plenty to do and see, sandcastles to be built, and a whole coast of excitement waiting to be explored!

If a break from cooking and delicious meals are what you’re looking for, coastal Virginia is a foodie’s paradise, with a diverse culinary landscape to rival the area’s natural beauty. Let Coastal Food Tours of Virginia guide you from the chef’s table and shoreline to a place of total satisfaction through a back-to-basics approach that combines farm and ocean, and food and spirits, while promising the chance to become part of the process of creating delicious coastal cuisine.   One of my favorite dining places is the Doughboy restaurants.... can you say amazing pizza!!!

Are you planning a trip to Virginia Beach?  Well you can Love the Moment in Virginia Beach, have a memorable time and not break the bank!  If you plan on driving then pack the snacks and drinks Roadside stores/gas stations don’t offer the best snacks, either nutritionally or in terms of price. You can pack some of your favorite snacks before you go and save yourself time, trouble, and money.

Hotels are nice, but if you rent a house or a condo, you have all the amenities of home and it can end up being way cheaper!  This way you can even save money buy cooking some meals at home too!  It is also always fun to take the kids to one of the local seafood markets and make a surf and turf dinner!  I know it is a vacation, so you may not want to cook, so check out some of the great restaurants!  I went to Virginia Beach for work before and enjoyed strolling the boardwalk and checking out all the great dining!  One place that was a must for me every morning was Belvedere Coffee Shop!  It is a cute diner atmosphere and the staff was so friendly!  The coffee was piping hot and yummy breakfasts, sandwiches, etc.!

The kids will love the soft sandy beaches and the huge King Neptune sculpture on the Boardwalk!  I took pictures when I was there and my daughter was excited to see Ariel's father! Did you know it is a twenty-four foot, twelve-ton bronze statue? Its craftsmanship was amazing!   The board walk is 28-feet wide and stretches three miles. There is something for everyone, live music, outdoor shops and restaurants! There are nights of free entertainment, firework shows and movies on the beach!

There is so many fun things to do, see and enjoy while in Virginia beach.  Take it all in and Love the Moment!
