April 10th -- MADD PowerTalk 21 Twitter Discussion #PowerTalk21

The statistics are staggering; teen alcohol use kills about 6,000 people each year, more than all illegal drugs combined. It's easy to see why MADD is going beyond just drunk driving, to reach the underlying issue.

However, they know that they can't do it alone. They rely on parents like us to educate our children on the dangers of underage drinking. That's why they started the Power of Parents program sponsored by Nationwide Insurance to designate April 21st as PowerTalk 21 day. It's a day for parents, kids and communities can take positive steps to open communications using the Power of Parents program and work together to end underage drinking.

MomSelect and MADD wants to make sure the conversation starts even earlier, which is why they are  hosting a Twitter discussion this Tuesday!   Join in to learn more about how you can help further MADD's life-saving work! They will be giving away five (5) $25 Visa gift cards, as a thank you for taking part in this important movement.
