In fact, with all of the extra prep time being saved, you’ll be able to spend more time mingling with your guests this year than working in the kitchen.  There are a number of Chex Party Mix recipes that can be made in just 15 minutes!   I was fortunate enough to be provided a $25 Sam’s Club Gift Card and One Large Size Box (contains 1 bag of Rice, Wheat and Corn Chex) of Chex Cereal for review.

Here’s how to plan your Sam’s Club Chex Party Mix-Change

• Set a date and let your friends and family know the details.  Announce your Chex Party Mix-Change using some of these festive invites.

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Munchies
Ingredients
5 cups Corn Chex® cereal
2 cups pretzel sticks, broken in half
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup candy-coated milk chocolate candies

Looking for an a different chocolate variation? Use semisweet chocolate chips or white vanilla baking chips instead of the milk chocolate chips.

Directions

• Cover 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper. In very large bowl, mix cereal and pretzels.

• In medium microwavable bowl, microwave butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips uncovered on High 45 seconds; stir. Microwave 15 to 45 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Immediately pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Spread evenly on cookie sheets. Refrigerate uncovered about 20 minutes or until set.

• Break into bite-size pieces. Divide mixture evenly into 2 resealable 1-gallon food-storage plastic bags. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar to each bag. Seal and shake each bag until well coated. Add 1/2 cup candies to each bag. Seal and gently shake each bag to mix. Store in sealed bags in refrigerator up to 4 weeks.

Chex® Pumpkin Pie Crunch
Butter, brown sugar and spice make a sweet and crunchy cereal mix.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Makes 16 ½ cup servings

Ingredients¼ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
¼ cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups Cinnamon Chex® cereal
2 cups Wheat Chex® cereal
2 cups Honey Nut Chex® cereal
8 oz pecans

Directions

• In small bowl, mix brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice; set aside. In small microwave-safe dish, microwave butter on High about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in vanilla. In large microwavable bowl, mix all cereals and pecans. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly distributed. Add sugar and spice mixture and stir until coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High 5 minutes or until mixture begins to brown, stirring every minute. Spread on wax paper or a cookie sheet to cool. Store in airtight container.
