Holiday GiftGuide - PetCakes R&G!!!

PetCakes™ is a new collectible plush pet line that  is a sweet treat for children ages 3 & up. Each PetCakes animal features a “frosting” hat, comes nestled in its own cupcake wrapper and has its own whimsical backstory. At first look, children will see a delicious cupcake but will then be surprised by the pet they find snuggled inside!

Combining sweet faces and cuddly plush with a clever cupcake theme, PetCakes are collectible and provide hours of open-ended imaginative play. PetCakes make perfect gifts for a special friend and for pet lovers. They are ideal for birthday party favors, stocking stuffers and as rewards for good grades. Most of all, PetCakes deliver the kind of fun kids eat up!

Look for PetCakes in specialty toy, gift stores or online at etoys or toysrus. More than six additional generations of PetCakes will begin debuting in 2011 featuring new puppies, kittens, bears, rabbits, raccoons and other furry friends.  Series 2 is all about the Forest Animals!

Nutty Nicky™ the squirrel is my name and running up trees is my game. I love chestnuts and walnuts, peanuts and almonds. I put them in the cupcake frostings when I snatch them off the picnic tables in Honey Suckle Woods™. I even have a place I hide cupcakes for the winter.

Pleased to meet you. I'm Bamboo Berry™ the panda. I live in the bamboo patch in Honey Suckle Woods™. It's quiet and peaceful there. I eat fresh tender bamboo shoots and for dessert I dream of vanilla cupcakes with berry frosting
My name is Honey Cakes™. I live in Honey Suckle Woods™. I look for bee hives and then make friends with the bees. They let me taste their delicious honey. I spread it on my cakes, bread and put scoops of it in my tea.

Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Roco Coco™ the raccoon and I love Honey Suckle Woods™. I sleep all day and come out at night . My friends and I have parties and sit around licking sweet frosting off cupcakes left from family picnics.

We have the original set of PetCakes (puppies) and  I was fortunate enough to receive two of four Forest Animal PetCakes to review. These Forest Critters were a huge hit in my house. They were excitedly pointing at which ones they wanted!  My son loves his squirrel and hide him in the cupcake liner. While my daughter immediately went for the Raccoon, she instantly fell in love with him. They are sweet faced animal plush toys that are so soft and lovable.
