In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I will be giving away (5) Warriors in Pink scarves to (5) lucky OneMommaSavingMoney readers (US only).

The most effective way to detect breast cancer is by mammogram. But as women, we can do our own exams to help with early detection.  My doctor encourages monthly breast exams. A monthly breast self-exam is an easy  way that you can check your breasts for changes.  If you notice any lumps, feels different, etc.  it is always best to consult with your doctor.  When breast cancer is detected in its early stages, your chances for surviving the disease are greatly improved.
