My daughter's 6th Birthday---How I started to use coupons and how I spent $0 on her gifts

Today is my daughter's 6th birthday!    Hard to believe 6 years ago it was just hubby and myself.  Once we added children to the mix that is when we really started to look at the money we were spending and I started couponing.  Just the basics at first, diapers and such.   Then I realized how much money we could save and I never left home with out a coupon folder!

I am sure everyone has started to coupon for different reasons... kids is what started it for me!  What about you?

Oh and for her birthday gifts today, we did not spend a dime out of pocket!!!  I used Swagbucks and cashed the points in for Amazon gift cards to pick up a DVD set for her, I used my Disney Movie Rewards points and scored a Disney Princess themed TV and DVR combo (I cashed in points 2 yrs ago and have been saving the TV--crazy huh!) and then picked her up a charm bracelet from Rue La Lafor free, had $ from free credits and from surveys!

So just think of all you could be saving and scoring for free!  I credit my kids to me becoming the couponer I am today!    Happy Birthday my little princess saving money- Paige!!!
