WHO:    Familia celebrates 25th Anniversary to benefit Ronald McDonald House

        Local celebrities modeling fall fashions from Dillard’s include media representatives: MAUREEN KYLE (WKYC-TV3); MARK NOLAN (WKYC-TV3); HOLLIE STRANO (WKYC-TV3); TRACY CARLOSS (WEWS TV-5); JASON NICHOLAS (WEWS-TV5); CONNIE DIEKEN (Communications specialist); and SCOTT NEWELL (Producer/director). Representing the medical community are: DR. SUSAN REHM (Cleveland Clinic) and LOREE VICK (University Hospitals). GAINOR B. DAVIS, PhD. (Western Reserve Historical Society); TONIA KWIATKOWSKI (Olympic Figure Skater and Coach) and MARGARET MITCHELL (YWCA) will also model. WILMA SMITH (FOX 8, WJW-TV) serves as honorary hostess.  

WHAT:    FAMILIA XXV – The 25th annual celebrity fashion show and luncheon featuring clothing from Dillard’s and benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland.

WHEN:    SATURDAY, OCTOBER. 15
Reception and raffle begins at 10:30 AM
Fashion Show begins at 11:30 AM, luncheon served immediately following.

WHY:    FAMILIA is an annual event that helps ensure the operation of the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland whose mission is to support families whose children are receiving treatment at area medical centers by providing a home-like environment and essential resources and services. Since its founding in 1979, more than 32,000 families from Ohio, the nation and many foreign countries have stayed at ‘The House That Love Built’.

HIGHLIGHTS:    Nearly 500 guests; local celebrities modeling the latest fall fashions from Dillard’s, co-sponsor of the event. 

A chance to win a three month lease for a silver Mercedes convertible for Summer 2012; vacation trips including a fabulous stay at the luxurious Nemacolin Resort in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania and a sun-kissed stay at the Sanibel Marriott Harbour Resort & Spa in Florida plus 2 round-trip airline tickets are just a few of the fabulous items being raffled off. Restaurant and salon and spa gift certificates, tickets and packages for Cleveland’s major sporting events, and a $1,000 landscape renovation from VanMarsh Landscaping are a sampling of the wonderful raffle and silent auction packages available.
