Flip Flop wines has something for everyone! Currently their selection of wines are Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. I am a white wine girl and I especially love Moscato wine. I received two bottles of wine to review. It was a hard job, but someone had to do it! I received a bottle of Pinot Grigio and Riesling . The first wine I tried was the Pinot Grigio, took it along with me to Easter at the in-laws! I was skeptical at first if I would like it, as I am not a medium dry/sweet girl, let alone a Pinot. When I opened the bottle the smell intoxicated me! I couldn't wait to try it! Father-in-law and I each had two glasses that night. You could definitely taste the pears and it was such a crisp taste and no lingering after taste! Later when sister-in-law came over, I offered her a glass. She said she was not a Pinot girl either, but she conceded into trying it. After a sip, she grabbed the bottle and asked where I got it from! She had never tasted such a great Pinot Grigio either!
I have had Riesling wine before, so I knew what to expect with this bottle. It did not disappoint. I could definitely taste the melon. It was nice and sweet with a smooth finish!
I would love to try the Moscato! I am sure it does not disappoint at all. I can see these as being the perfect summer wines. Sitting on the deck in the sun, enjoying a nice cool glass of wine sounds perfect right about now!
