CarCheckup Review

I was recently contacted to do a review of CarCheckup, unfortunately or should I say luckily my children are not at driving age.  I did not want to pass up on sharing this company with you all, I know many of my readers have teen drivers or soon will!  CarCheckup is a gadget that improves safety for teen drivers while bringing peace of mind to parents by recording vehicle diagnostic information.

Here’s how it works: Mom or Dad plugs the device into a vehicle’s diagnostic port and leaves it there as junior borrows the car. Then a parent can remove it, swing out the build-in USB port, and plug it into the home computer for a full analysis on the CarCheckup.com website. The device serves as a deterrent for teens to drive recklessly—as they know Mom and Dad will find out.

CarCheckup also developed a comprehensive driving contract to allow parents and teens to agree upon expected driving behavior. Parents can download a free copy here:  teen driving contract

The gadget is also useful for drivers who want to monitor the condition of their vehicles and people that need to track their miles for business.
