I was recently contacted by Coca-Cola and they told me how parents can help their local school get a chance to win a $20,000 technology upgrade from My Coke Rewards (MCR). Now through September 30, donate points to your neighborhood schools in the Refresh Your School Technology Sweepstakes for a chance to win $20,000 that can be used by the school to purchase cameras, computers, televisions and other technology equipment. Every five MCR points donated enters your school in a drawing to win the grand prize.
Through the online loyalty program MyCokeRewards.com, parents and school communities can donate their MCR points and give local schools a way to get sports and playground equipment, art and music supplies and technology resources to supplement their educational programs for students. Since My Coke Rewards for Schools launched in 2008, more than 36 million points have been donated to over 12,000 schools throughout the U.S. These schools have then redeemed 16 million points for rewards valued at $400,000.
Authorized representatives of the school can easily register the school to participate in this program by going to mycokerewards.com/schools and clicking on “Register Today.” Schools must be registered for the program in order to earn entries for this sweepstakes. My Coke Rewards for Schools is open to accredited schools, grades K-12, in the U.S. (and D.C). No purchase necessary. Schools that register now through September 30, 2010 will earn one sweepstake entries after registration and an additional entry for every five points donated by MCR members. Registered schools will earn one entry for every five points donated by MCR members. Visit mycokerwards.com/schools for details.
Join My Coke Rewards and donate you points to their schools, just five points could make one lucky school the winner of the My Coke Rewards Refresh Your School Technology Sweepstakes!
No exchanges took place for this post, just wanted to share this great program!
