I just watched it today with the kids via M-Go! It’s a new platform to watch films digitally, bringing you the very latest movie and TV releases to rent or own on demand with instant, high-quality video streaming across your favorite screens. You can watch movies via the following devices: Roku, Samsung Smart TV & Blu-ray Player, VIZIO Smart TVs Computer (PC or Mac), LG Smart TVs, Apple iOS - iPad™, Android Tablets, Google TV, Internet Explorer, Chrome (on Mac or PC), Firefox (PC or Mac) and Intel AppUp. We watched it via Firefox, it was as easy as downloading the viewing program and watching it. We actually hooked my laptop up via the TV and watched it on the big screen.
What is even cooler is you have to have an UltraViolet account too, well my UV account is also linked to my Flixster account. So I can not only watch via my laptop, but on my Kindle Fire HD and iPad gen 1 via the Flixster account! You can watch you movies on-the-go on a mobile device, tablets, etc. Another benefit is you get to watch the movies early. I personally love renting and purchasing movies online, no need to leave the house and usually when you purchase them, they are cheaper or the same price as the DVD version.
This movie is full of educational aspects. I am amazed at how much we all learned for this film! The film starts out with an uncle and his niece and nephew on an adventure to piece together a tooth they found to the missing dinosaur bones. The nephew is reluctant and stays behind and is greeted by a crow a distant relative of Alex a prehistoric bird and he begins to tell the story of Walking with Dinosaurs. Alex befriends the main character Patchi a playful Pachyrhinosaurus who was the runt out of his litter of eight. Alex helps tell the story of Patchi and the evolution of life. It is an amazing story and a great educational, fun movie for everyone watching it!
Did you know that a mother herbivore will regurgitate or vomit up plants to feed the babies? I did not, silly me figured they would nurse like most animals! Another cool feature of the film was when they introduced a new species, they took the time give you the spelling of the dinosaur, its pronunciation, a little history of it and the type (herbivore, carnivore, etc.).
Hailed by viewers for its explosive visual achievements, Walking With Dinosaurs is "Jurassic Park meets The Lion King” (The Today Show) and “…too good a visual treat to miss” (Philadelphia Inquirer).
