I am a huge fan of the Rankin/Bass productions, so I was eager to watch this DVD! I had never seen these film prior to receiving the DVD. It is a cute film and a nice addition to our holiday movies. I am fairly sure it is not a popular title, but if you enjoy the productions from Rankin/Bass you will love this on as well. There is something about these old style animations that make me smile and my kids love them too!
A little about this storyline: a young shepherd boy is taken in by some nuns and cared for after he is blinded. He experiences new things, like playing an angel in the Christmas pageant, feeling snow for the first time, etc. The snow is a miracle as is the little boy!
